Did you know?

• Traffic crashes are the #1 killer of teens.

• Young drivers represent 13% of all license drivers; they cause 28% of all traffic crashes and 24% of all fatal accidents.

• About 2/3 of fatal teen crashes are caused by driver error – either not knowing what to do or being distracted.

Knowing how to respond to a first aid or CPR emergency is one of the most important skills a person can possess. The Standard First Aid, CPR and AED course meets the OSHA requirements and is your tool for training employees the latest skills, techniques and expertise in life-saving procedures. The practice and feedback of using related skills in a realistic situation is integrated into the actual teaching experience.
 
The Standard First Aid, CPR and AED course topics include:
·         Breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults, infants and children
·         Identifying and caring for bleeding, sudden illnesses and injuries
·         Preventing disease transmission
·         Introduction to AED's
 
Options:
·         Train the Trainer Courses – you become the skilled instructor
·         Onsite Training – teach your employees with quality NSC instructors
·         Online – let your students learn the material at their pace and then supervise their practical testing

Lift Truck Training
 
Meet OSHA’s Powered Industrial Truck Standard (1910.178) using the National Safety Council’s Coaching the Lift Truck OperatorTM training program.
 
Over 95,000 people are injured and millions of dollars are lost each year in forklift incidents. Now you must comply with OSHA’s new training standards, aimed at greatly reducing those injury statistics and related costs. This course is a comprehensive program updated to cover all aspects of lift truck operation, including:
·         Operator training definitions from OSHA and NIOSH
·         Lift truck design
·         Vehicle safety inspections
·         Moving with and without a load
·         Picking up and stacking a load
·         Utilizing scanning techniques
·         Special considerations such as trailers, ramps, and elevators
·         Pedestrian safety (for non-operators who work around lift trucks)
