St. Patrick’s Day is March 17th, and we continually see a spike in drunk-driving crashes on this date every year.
Alabama State Troopers investigated 237 crashes resulting in 10 deaths and 123 injuries during the Fourth of July travel period, according to the Alabama Department of Public Safety. The travel period is considered the 78 hours from 6 p.m. Thursday through midnight Sunday.
