Alabama’s first diverging diamond interchange is two years old, and state officials are praising it for improving safety through the heavily traveled Interstate 10 and Alabama State Route 181 interchange in Baldwin County.

The interchange, according to the Alabama Department of Transportation, is creating fewer traffic delays and a continuous free flow of traffic.
