Teen Drivers’ Distracted Parents Lead by (Bad) Example, Polls Reveal
A State Farm Insurance poll found that 61 percent of teenagers surveyed said their parent had been distracted at least once by a phone while the teens were learning how to drive. And 53 percent of the parents admitted to the distraction.
In the survey, 54 percent of the teens say they’ve seen parents using a phone while driving either “sometimes, often or all the time.”
