Post-implementation evaluation (PIE) provides an opportunity to learn from past efforts and make better decisions in the future. By systematically examining the impacts of completed projects, agencies can identify proven strategies, refine business processes, and strengthen institutional knowledge for future initiatives. Evaluating project performance against its original goals and objectives creates a feedback loop that informs future project selection, funding, development, and implementation.
