GHSA has partnered with Check To Protect, a vehicle recall awareness program run by the National Safety Council (NSC) to spread the word that it is important – and easy – to check a vehicle’s recall status at CheckToProtect.org. Many drivers in your state may be unaware their vehicle has a safety recall and that all recalls are repaired for FREE at authorized dealers. Check To Protect will be providing State Highway Safety Offices with materials to help educate vehicle owners about the importance of checking for recalls and to raise awareness about the campaign among law enforcement officers engaged in their communities.
