Reckless Driving Soars During COVID-19, GHSA Reports
In their recent newsletter, GHSA stated that the number of reckless driving accidents has skyrocketed during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“As people have been sheltering in place during the COVID-19 pandemic, traffic on U.S. roadways has dropped to unprecedented levels. That’s generated some unexpected benefits for motorists — lower gas prices, rebates on auto insurance premiums and reduced travel times. But some motorists are taking advantage of the latter to drive faster — much faster, according to law enforcement officials across the country.”
