2025 TRB Annual Meeting Chair’s Plenary Session Recording
The TRB Executive Committee Chair and Vice Chair hosted a special session to honor TRB award winners and engage in a fireside chat on creating cultures of innovation in policy, practice, and technology. Awardees: Sandi Rosenbloom, 2025 recipient of the Thomas. B. Deen Distinguished Lectureship Nuria Fernandez, 2025 recipient of the Frank Turner Medal for Lifetime Achievement in Transportation Rolf R. Schmitt, the 2024 recipient of the Robert E. Skinner, Jr. Distinguished Transportation Research Management Award Halil Ceylan, the 2024 recipient of the Roy W. Crum Award Chandra R. Bhat, recipient of the 2024 W.N. Carey, Jr. Distinguished Service Award The fireside chat featured: Sylvain Haon, International Association of Public Transport Patrick Mallejacq, PIARC, the World Road Association Binyam Reja, World Bank Susanna Zammataro, International Road Federation (IRF) with moderators: Carol Lewis, Texas Southern University Leslie Richards, University of Pennsylvania Stuart Weitzman School of Design.
