Roadway Safety Noteworthy Practices

State and local highway agencies are implementing data-driven practices to successfully address roadway safety planning, implementation, and evaluation challenges. These practices have the capacity to reduce staff time, save money and other resources – with the goal of reducing roadway fatalities and serious injuries.

The FHWA Office of Safety is collecting and making these practices available in the Roadway Safety Noteworthy Practices Database.

Noteworthy practices have the capacity to:
