A Lanett mother is accused of causing the death of her 2-year-old daughter in a February traffic crash. Joy Antonette Brooks, 29, was indicted recently on a charge of manslaughter, court records show. Brooks was released from the Montgomery County Detention Facility after posting $20,000 bond on Dec. 13.
